Making learning relevant and offering more student elective opportunities is what Career Pathways is all about. Troup County School System is excited about the focus on student achievement through Pathways. For year, TCSS has offered Pathways, but in the fall of 2017, the district will roll out new Pathway options for both middle and high school students.
After some of our district administrators, principals and teachers visited other middle and high schools with Pathway models, they saw these schools witnessed high success rates of student engagement and graduation rates. They came back to Troup County and put in some hard work to create Pathway models that are tailored for our students.
Examples of Career Pathways include:
- Gaming and Design
- Agriculture Mechanics
- Audio, Video & Film
- Graphic Design
- Much More!
