• Alert:

Quick reminder: Students who attend in-person learning will receive a breakfast and lunch meal before they leave school on Friday afternoon. The meals are for Monday’s virtual learning day so there is less food deficiency throughout the county.

In addition, TCSS buses will be rolling into communities Monday to distribute meals for kids 18 and younger. There will be enough meals for five days. Those receiving meals do not have to be TCSS students. Meals are available to each young person in the community. The bus route delivery sites are available here.

Welcome to the CMS Media Center!

The staff for the 2019-2020 school year includes
Erin Dorman, Media Specialist, and Valerie Sims, Media Paraprofessional.

Q: What books and materials do we have for checkout?

A: Take a look! To access the online Destiny catalog for Callaway Middle School, please click here

Q: Does the CMS media center have e-books?

A: Yes! Download the I-Nigma app, found here for iPhone , and visit your media center ASAP to scan QR codes of books you just can't live without!        I-Nigma  (I-Nigma is a free QR code reader)

There is also a great option from your home! Georgia State Libraries are offering unlimited access to e-books and digital content for Grades 6-12, as well as Public Libraries in Georgia. Middle-High School aged students in your district can access TumbleBookCloud using the below login information:

www.TumbleBookCloud.com
Username: stro
Password: login

Q: What are some good sites for research and projects?

A: Oh, wow, great question! We recommend students start with GALILEO, the online "mother" of all databases, to begin! It is free to CMS and Troup County students...and it gives you better results than Google search. If you need the current password, you can email Ms. Dorman at dormaneb@troup.org .
More information on research to come this year!
