Return to Traditional/Virtual Forms: Deadline is September 25th

In an attempt to ensure all students are successful during these difficult times, we are opening a period for students to declare which educational environment is best suited for their needs. The system has set a deadline of September 25th for students to declare they wish to go virtual or to declare their desire to return to traditional education.

Spanish Intent to Return and Deadline for Virtual Choice

Hola padres: este mensaje es para actualizarlos con dos piezas de información importante.  Los administradores del sistema escolar creen que la instrucción cara a cara es la opción más viable para que los estudiantes sobresalgan y están viendo que algunos estudiantes que han elegido la instrucción virtual están teniendo dificultades.  Ahora, TCSS está implementando nuevos parámetros para impactar el éxito de los estudiantes.

Virtual Students wishing to take PSAT must sign up by 9/30

PSAT

Any 9th, 10th or 11th grade virtual student interested in coming to CHS to take the PSAT needs to sign up at the following link (Please note that 9th & 11th grade student interested in taking the test must pay $17.): The deadline to sign up is September 30th.  Sign up at this link.

 

Meal Orders for Quarantined Students

If it is necessary for a student to be placed in quarantine and switch to virtual learning due to COVID-19, parents wishing for their student(s) to receive meals should place a meal order by calling 706-883-1588 no later than 3:00 p.m. for the following day’s meal service.  Meals must be picked up at the student’s school between 9 and 11 a.m. the day after the meal is ordered.  Students electing to receive meals will be given breakfast and lunch for the remaining school days during that week.  Thereafter, in order to continue receiving meals for the following week, parents should place their meal order using PayPAMS, our online ordering website.
