02/23/18: Callaway High Pioneers Google Augmented Reality Learning

Today, Laura Banks' 10th grade Biology classes explored DNA, chromosomes and extinct animals through the new Google Augmented Realty Pioneer Program. TCSS employees Ginnie Walker and Mary Casey applied to have Callaway High as a beta testing group for the new 3-D learning apps. 

Students took 'tours' inside of hurricanes, chromosomes, and cornea's. In this video, Beyounce Williams, steps inside of a T-Rex.

Congratulations Ms. Brantley!!!

Ms. Sha Brantley is Hogansville Elementary’s February Teacher of the Month. This is her 11th year teaching, and her first year at Hogansville Elementary School. She is a 4th and 5th grade Math and Science teacher and the Tier III coordinator.  She graduated in 2006 with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southwestern State University, and she also holds an Associates degree in Sociology. Ms. Brantley believes that one of the most important aspects of teaching is being a positive influence in the lives of her students. Brantley
